Tonka Water has been selected to provide a water treatment system in German Valley, Illinois. This customized system will include vertical pressure filters with IMAR™ filter media and the unique Tonka Water hydrous manganese oxide (HMO) feed system. The feed system includes TonkaBlend™ to consistently and effectively feed TonkaZorb™, a preformed HMO solution for radium absorption. The system also features Tonka Water’s Simul-Wash™backwash process, saving thousands of gallons of waste washwater with each backwash cycle.
